This policy covers www.painterssutherlandshire.com.au, run by Kaptol Pty Ltd TA Painting Sutherland Shire, Urdala Place, Sutherland. It says what the website collects, why, who else handles it and how long it is kept.
When you ask for a quote
The quote form asks what you need done, where the property is, and how to reach you: your name and phone number, plus your email address and a message if you choose.
-
Saved as you go
Your answers are saved each time you press Next, so your name and phone number are saved before you press Send.
-
Checked
Automated checks look at every request to filter out spam, and describe any photos for us.
-
Sent to us
Your request is emailed to us, and kept by our website provider, Fleet Pages.
-
We reply
We use your details to call you back, quote and do the work.
Photos
Photos are optional. They are stored privately by Fleet Pages and reach us with your request. We use them only to quote your job.
If you stop part way
What you entered is kept for 30 days from when you started, so you can come back and finish it. Then it is deleted, photos included.
If you gave your email address, we are shown the unfinished request after 2 days and may contact you about it. From then we keep it like any other enquiry.
Your browser keeps a reference to your request (not your answers) for up to 7 days, so the form can offer to continue it. Start over, on the form, clears it.
Where you came from
If you reached us from an ad, or from a link with campaign tags, the form also records that tag, the page you landed on and the site you came from. It tells us which advertising works.
The bot check
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is sending the form. It usually runs unseen, and may ask you to tick a box. Read Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum.
News and offers
We may tell you about services like the one you asked about. Tell us if you would rather we did not.
Analytics, maps and our phone number
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read, and when a quote request is sent. It sets cookies in your browser to tell visits apart. We do not send it your form answers. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services, or install Google's opt-out add-on.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and measures how fast our pages load. Read Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Google Maps
The contact page and our suburb pages show a Google map. It loads from Google when you scroll to it, so your browser connects to Google, as it would on any site with a map. Read Google's privacy policy.
Tapping our phone number
When you tap our phone number, your browser sends one short message to the call system our website provider runs. It carries only the name of this website. Like any request, it shows your device's internet address to that system.
Keeping the site working
If a page hits a technical error in your browser, a short report (the page address and the error) goes to Fleet Pages so it can be fixed.

How long we keep it
